National Data Breach 2024.  — since april, a hacker with a history of selling stolen data has claimed a data breach of billions of records — impacting at least 300 million people — from a u.s. The national public data breach incident has brought attention to the vulnerabilities in data security.

The stolen data comes from a data scraping service trading under the name “national public data” which was allegedly breached by a cybercriminal group by the name of usdod. They claimed it contained 2,900,000,000 records on united states citizens.
